  The hotel was everything we hoped for and more! We arrived early (8:30 am), Vinnie and Kristina at the front desk stored our luggage in a secure locked area, leaving us free to explore the sights until check-in. Upon check-in, we were greeted with glasses of sparkling cava. Vinnie and Kristina represent the hotel most excellently.   The location was brilliant - the best of both worlds, close to a great beach and just a 15 minute walk to the city centre. Staff very friendly and helpful, room wonderful with incredibly comfortable beds. Excellent breakfast. Buffet lunch and bar snacks at hotel quite expensive but check out Cafe Genis just a few metres away - very good quality ... what people say » food and excellent value for money. - Everything was excellent. Hotel is situated near the beach and not far from city center. Room was nicely decorated, especially we liked bathroom design. Delicious breakfast and as we booked 30 days in advance we had it for free. Very polite and helpful staff.

  The aparment is lovely, in a wonderful location, with a great view over the Puerto Viejo (Port Vell) and a nice terrace to enjoy the view with a glass of wine. It has all appliances you may need, it's very clean and we had no noise on the bedroom, so perfect for a good night sleep. We wanted to stay at Barceloneta (we love this area of town, so cl... what people say » ose to the beach and the old town, and so lively), so the location couldn't be any better.   I stayed only one night but I really like it and like I was staying for a long time...It is a home actually but really nice and really warm..I talked with Agustina who working there at nights and she was really nice and trying to help you(Thank you for everything Agustina)..there is shared kitchen so, you can cook your own food(its best way to sav... what people say » e money for backpackers) cleaning was good as well :) I will come back there If I come to Barcelona again..Hope to see you soon :) - Staff was really helpful and friendly. There's two different guest houses in nearby buildings, one is rather communal backpacker style and the other is quieter. I was in the former (without knowing what I was getting into), and they were easy going about moving me into the latter. Good kitchen set up. The backpacker place was actually pretty nice for that sort of thing, just not what I was looking for (I'm a bit older than that now, and like my peace and quiet!).

  Staff was very friendly and helpful. They made suggestions for touring Barcelona. They let me set-up my tripod to take photos of the harbor and surrounding area which was great. They made a special breakfast for me very early in the morning when I had to catch a train which was very considerate.   The location was fantastic. The rooms were very clean and spacious. - Even though I was warned of possible rennovation disturbance I heard/saw nothing! But then again you don't really expect to when you're only using the hotel as a place to rest your head after spending all day exploring the city.
