Staff very friendly and helpful. Room clean, tidy and bed comfy. Great location, short walk to magic fountain area and Espanya shopping centre and metro station. Hotel doesn't provide breakfast, but advised us of a great cafe/bakery for breakfast called Audreys just a short walk away. -

I wish I could give bonus points on this review for the staff! The staff were exceptional!! We travel a lot and I have never had such helpful friendly staff. The room we stayed in was small but the way they have designed the rooms they have been able to maximize the space and was very comfortable. The rooms are new and a beautiful modern design, comfortable beds, nice shower and great a/c! Everything about this place was perfect! I would definitely recommend staying here to everyone!

I like everything very much. The services is great. The rooms were allways clean (the towels changed every day) and confortable. The location of the hostal Oliveta is very convienent. Just couple minutes from metro station Parallel, also you can easily reach the old quarter, La Ramblas on foot. It will take 10-15 minutes to walk.

Stayed for 8 days, in the beginning, the hotel was the mistakes, and they booked us a room to other guests were settled, we proposed a more modest room, two days later freed ours, previously reserved room. The apartments were right next to the metro and it was so easy to get around. The apartment was well designed and user friendly. The view was very nice. The apartment is located very close to the soccer stadium - walking distance. The bar downstairs had excellent food and the sangria was the best in the city (that I tried). Loved the staff, even though only one of them speaks English, but since he's there every day at day time, I had no problem asking for help.
My room was cleaned every day, which for a hostel is pleasantly surprising.
The location is good as in in the center - two minute walk to La Rambla and ten minute walk to the port. Plaça de Catalunya with the AeroBus is within 5 min too, so transfers to/from the airport could never be easier
The AC worked perfectly, fridge, shower, wifi etc - all good
