  I'm head over heels in love with Black Swan! I planned on staying there for just one night, I ended up staying for a week! Everything was perfect. The staff is great! Always very helpful and just genuinely friendly, nice and cool! The location is great! Very central, 2 minutes to Urquinaona metro station. The rooms are okay, comfy beds, A/C, Wi-Fi, plugs in your locker so that you can ch - The Black Swan Hostel is located in 7-10 minutes walk from Estacio d 'Autobusos Barcelona Nord. A sign from the street is not very well seen and you need to focus on the glass door from the street Carrer d'Alí Bei near the crossroad. You have to ring the bell and then you will be allowed to enter to the reception. There is very quick registartion at the hostel. The rooms, showers and toilets are very clean and spacious.   ** i was looking for a calm and quiet vacation, and lur hostel was the place for it -- loved the classic l'eixample apartment and loved the couch with the view of the block courtyard ** the location was perfect, close to the modernist attractions in barcelona ** it was really really clean, even cleaner than my own house :D ** the staff (david, ... what people say » maria, jaime, linda) were really friendly and helpful - we got lots of clothes to wash but had no time as I and my bf were busy to sight seeing all around in Barcelona but they did it instead of us and brought it into our room even twice. their English wasn't so fluent but didn't matter. just there is one thing to know that it's 10euro to use washing machine though the service was satisfied than my thought. just be sure about it.

  The staff was super friendly. They make you feel very welcome and give you many advices for your daily schedule if you ask. They provide you with towels for free and you can also change it if you need a new one. The breakfast is not luxury but at least there is a breakfast and for a few days it is totally fine :). Thanks for - Arco youth hostel was a fantastic place to stay. The manager was absolutely wonderful and helped us whenever we needed anything - from maps, restaurant suggestions, anything at all. There were many reviews that said that the hostel was difficult to find, but we had no problem finding it at all. It's right off of la Rambla and right around the corner from Starbucks! Great hostel and I'd recommend it to anyone.

  Very friendly and helpful staff; we arrived late after midnight and still the attendant was really nice. The double room is in another building, 5 minutes walking distance from the hostel, very nice 5 floors with elevator, security entrance with electronic card, in the building and in the room; the room has a kitchenette and it was cleaned every d... what people say » ay with a daily change of towels. The surrounding area is very quiet considering you are in Raval neighborhood. supermarket right in front of the buil - We stayed in one of the double rooms which is in a separate building a few minutes walk fron the main hostel it was great actually closer to La Rambla than the main building. it was a quiet building and had a lift. Free wifi in the rooms was good and there were a lot of activities offered. We did the gaudi walkong tour and it was excelent. The double rooms weren't super cheap so in terms of value for money perhaps you could find somewhere on La Rambla but it was very close maybe 5 min walk
