  After a long day of driving, it was a real treat to have a beatiful room with 2 balconies on the ocean. The breeze kept the room cool without having to use the air conditionning. The view was amazing. In the morning, the breakfast that was included in the price was execellent (offering; croissants, fresh fruits, eggs, meat, toasts, coffee-5 differ... what people say » ents kinds, juice, milk, and a lot more). I would highly recommend this hotel in Escala. - Upon arrival, the desk was super helpful. They helped take the luggage up to the room. Breakfast atmosphere was pleasant, quiet, great views.

  Everything about this hotel was good! The staff was so welcoming and helpful! We had early departure (4am), nevertheless, we were offered a breakfast! We had a half board and the food was excellent! The room was so nice and the sea view is amazing! Hotel location is just 50m from the sea! The parking was on site and free. The rooms are large with occasinal furniture, and There is a fridge in the room with 2 complimentary bottles of water.   My wife and I stayed at Pensio Torrent for three nights. The Pensio is run by a mother and son and is exceptionally clean if basic. It is a terrific value for under $40 per night. We stayed in Room 203 on the top floor, with a small balcony overlooking the street. The nights were quiet and peaceful, with any noise (if there in fact was any) sealed... what people say » off by the well-fitting double doors. The "action", such as it is, in L'Escala is just a couple of blocks away, as is the beach, but for us the real - We were met by a lovely lady after a long bus journey and were able to check-in already at 10am. Throughout our stay she was very helpful with everything altho our Spanish/Catalan is very basic! Our bedroom was lovely, had a small balcony with a view over the street and church. Waking up to a sound of church bells and cockerel was nice too. Highly recommend!

  The location couldn't be better: on the edge of the old town, a 5- minute walk from the beach and right next to the tourist information office, the tourist train stop and the bus stop for Barcelona. Our twin room was basic and bright, with air conditioning, a big en suite bathroom and a balcony overlooking the quiet car park area with the sea in t... what people say » he distance. The breakfast was a continental buffet with lots of choice, and there were loads of nice restaurants nearby. The staff were really friend - The hotel in whole is very nice and clean. It'is running by one family and you can even feel its atmosphere. The location is very good: just across the road - bus stop (buses depart and arrive to and from Barcelona, Figueres, Girona etc), and not so far from one of the city's beaches. I think this hotel is the best in the centre of La Escala to discover the most beautiful beaches outside the city (Mistral club beach as well). And, of course, I must say about breakfast. It is quiet perfect!
