Good service by the swiming pools. - This is the very very good hotel, very high level, very good organisation.   La Vista was a very friendly place and tastefully decorated and beautifully maintained. The food was also excellent - we ate there for all 7 days of our stay - there was no need to go elsewhere. Martin and Mila were excellent hosts with lots of useful information.   We liked being away from the concrete-lined tourist centres. Our trip centered on nature - botany and birdwatching and we enjoyed the simple rural location that also allowed easy access to the Teide area and the Teno peninsula.   Lovely comfortable newly refurbished flat (very comfy bed) overlooking the Plaza and a stone's throw from the beach and cafes and restaurants. Lots of proper shops, cash point etc not just souvenirs. Taxi rank at top of hill. Cinthia who looked after us was brilliant even though she didn't speak English.
