  We spent one night here on a recent trip through Northern Spain and our only complaint is that we wish were here for two. It is a bit of a way out from Llanes but we took a taxi once (€7) and then made the walk twice. The setting on the bluffs over the ocean is amazing we walked down to the secluded beach it is also so lovely. - Perfect location ... what people say » - just outside the village of Cue, overlooking some very spectacular cliffs over the sea and the small beach (we had a nice view from our room). Llanes was a 30-40 minutes walk away, there is a safe pavement all the time. There is a reasonably priced bar and a simple restaurant in the building. Free wi-fi.

  Very nice appartments - well equipped and ample room. Nice to have the swimming pool on site and to have exclusive use of it. Well positioned for the coast especially Llanis and for visiting the mountains. Hope to return sometime!

  Nicely appointed new apartment conveniently located in centre of town with secure underground parking. Short walk to historic area, marina and lovely beach. 20 min drive to Picos de Europa. Loved having cooking facilities and washer/dryer. Owner speaks some English. - This is the 3rd time we have stayed in the apartments so that should speak for ... what people say » itself!   Llanes is a nice town with a long riverfront with a number of restaurants along its banks and in the old part of town that serve seafood. The staff at the Miraolas were very pleasant and helpful. Because of the one way streets, I could not find the hotel even with GPS. The receptionist literally walked a number of blocks to where I was stopped and... what people say » personally directed me to the hotel! The room I had was small but comfortable and clean. The breakfast was adequate. The complimentary bottle of sidr - Being out of the main centre and having a view was great, particularly as the weather wasnt good so I spent more time in the hotel tgan planned. Lovely staff; one woman in particular who knows how to make you feel like a valued customer. Breakfast appears to have improved since some earlier reviews - a full continental buffet.

  We used this hotel as a stopping point en route to Santander from Galicia. We had a superior room which was large and comfortable with a sofa. Unfortunately it rained the entire time so we were not able to avail ourselves of the outside garden space. Staff were helpful and pleasant.
