  Lovely staff, attentive and helpful throughout - even helped find a lost wallet. Great location at a great rate - cheaper than a nearby hostel but with a pool, bar & better location. 'Apartment' meant a second room, small hob, microwave & fridge - ie ideal to look after yourself. Meant we saved quite a bit of money during the day time. Ch... what people say » eck out the 'Ileta' restaurant on the beach. Great romantic setting. - It's only 25mins from Palma airport. The beach is literally over the road! It's cheap and cheerful. Spacious apartments and massive balconies. Decent swimming pool and pool bar.

  I was extremely pleased with the Apartamentos Ran de Mar. I paid a low price and di not expect much for my money. However, I was suprised at the accommodation. It is clean and had the necessities for a self catering break. It is not luxury but that is reflected in the price. If you are happy for a base that is clean, close to the beach and shop... what people say » s, somewhere to put your head, have a shower and keep drink in the fridge, then this is it. - Location, receptionists, price. The hotel is on the Paguera boulevard and has lots of shops near. It even has an internal corridor to get straight to the beach. We took the half pension based on a comment on this website and it was the best decision. The food was good and you always have at least 3 options of meat, salads, etc. It's also near beautiful Cala Fornells which I recommend to visit. Time of the year: end of June 2013.

Approx 1 minute walk from beach and less to shops, lovely beaches with usual facilities all very clean.   we liked everything about this hotel, especially the entertainment manager, Gabrielle & Amanda?, they tried so hard at their job, it was very peaceful, & just in the right place, all the staff were so friendly & helpful, at all times - Hotel and rooms are nice and clean.   The appartments are clean the staff is very very friendly and the location is green...When I arrived there was a bottle of cava waiting for me, the second day the owner knocked on my door with a local sweet starter and when I left he gave me as a friendship a bottle of Tunel (local drink)..wow three thubs up for this place and I could park my rent... what people say » al car for free at the private parking!!! If you want to hike or bike ask the owner since he is almost a pro in hiking and biking..Also at the beach t - This place is fantastic! The owner and his family are so helpful and lovely, showing us everything from where to eat, shop, use the television and even offered we could stay past checkout if needed. The apartments are an amazing deal for the price and have just about all the comforts of home. They seem fairly new, are in great shape and the facility even offers a washing machine and an orange tree.

  When we finally got out apartment the room was nice clean and more spacious. Apartments were in a nice part of the resort and near to the beach
