  The location was wonderful - we visited just prior to the opening of tourist season, which suited us just fine. The area was very quiet, and everything was close and accessible. We were within 1k of the beach, and walked to the closest town in less than 15 minutes. Bicycles and taxis made everything else we wanted to see a short hop away. The hosts were friendly and welcoming, treating us as if we were - Location is great (700m to Cala Mondrago), everything in the house is in mint condition, very nice and stylish rooms. Breakfast was fine with homemade pastry (cakes etc.) Good pool so you can even not leave the hotel if you like. Yoga teacher comes to the hotel twice a week (10 Euro for a lesson). Best Mallorca's beaches are nearby or can be easily reached by car.

  Although the accommodation was fairly basic, it was very clean and reasonably well equipped. The host, Frank was exceptionally helpful and ready to oblige with anything extra which may be required. The pool and grounds of the hotel were well attended to and pre-recession the hotel probably had far more facilities. We would visit Porto Petro again, but in accommodation around the marina. - We really enjoyed being in the town of Puerto Petro; we are not big-city people at all, and it was lovely to be in a small town. Cal d"Or is just minutes away, where you can find many more shops and larger supermarkets. Our apartment was perfect, with a wonderful view of the port. Frank is very helpful and friendly. We would most definitely return!

  Cala Figuera is a small village with beautiful views and not as many tourists as everywhere else in Majorca. There are few restaurants with nice, home-cooked food. Rocamar is a small family run hotel. Its simply amazing. - Although the lady at the reception can not speak English, she is quite nice and patient, checking google translation and writing on the paper to facilitate the communication. The hotel provide comfortable and clean accommodation which is absolutely worth of money. Strong recommended, especially for solo tourist!
