Hotel Rocamar in Cadaques, Spain

Set in large gardens and offering wonderful views of the Mediterranean Sea, the tranquil Rocamar is just 10 minutes’ walk from central Cadaqués. It has a tennis court, and indoor and outdoor swimming pools. All of the Hotel Rocamar’s rooms have air conditioning and satellite TV. Many also have views of Sa Conca Beach or Cadaqués Bay. You can enjoy your lunch or dinner on the hotel’s terrace, which offers panoramic sea views. It serves a range of classic Catalan and seafood dishes. Rocamar has a small indoor pool, as well as a sauna. There is also free Wi-Fi thoughout the hotel. The hotel is ideally located for walking the coast around Cap de Creus, as well as for visiting the Aigüamolls de l’Empordà National Park.

Multilingual staff facilitated all guests so no delays at reception. Breakfasts were fantastic. Perfect location, peaceful, beautiful. Pleasant staff enhanced ambience. views - out of season emptiness ... in Summer could be very busy - good breakfast choice - quiet location. The distance to the downtown means a fairly lengthy walk to restaurants and other services.A little far from downtown;a long walk....but worth it for the location of the hotel. The room (mountain view) was small and faced a backward area. Dinner was disappointing (but the view was great). I wish we had been told beforehand that the hotel operates a complementary minibus service which will pick guests up at the town's bus stop. There is a very limited taxi service in Cadaques, and it can be a long hot walk to the hotel from the bus stop with luggage! The journey back on the minibus was much easier!. The exterior was negected a little as was the outdoor pool. Facilities not all working - no Sauna or Hydrotherapy or any service near Pool area. Bar expensive.The room is very poor for the price of 150 euro comparing to other hotels we stayed in.

The restaurant is open for dinner from 19:30 until 22:00. From June to September, the restaurant is also open for lunch from 13:30 until 15:30 as well as on Saturdays and national holidays during the remainder of the year.

The hotel is located in a very tranquil area. The indoor pool is open from the 20th of August until the 20th of June. During the summer season you can enjoy your lunch or dinner on the terraces situated near the outdoor pool next to Sa Conca beach and enjoy the splendid panoramic views.

A free transfer service to and from the bus station is available on request. Please contact the hotel using the contact details that appear on the booking confirmation for further details. Dogs are allowed except in the swimming pool and restaurant areas. Please note the restaurant will be closed until the 1st of May 2014. The indoor pool is open from 20 August until 20 June. Please note if you have any special dietary requirements, such as gluten-free products or allergies, please note this in the Special Requests Box when booking. Access to the hotel's indoor and outdoor swimming pool may be difficult for wheelchair users or for guests with reduced mobility.

Situated at 800 metres from the centre of Cadaqués, a base from which you can visit the house of Salvador Dali in Port-Lligat, the church of Santa Maria, Cap de Creus Nature Reserve and boat excursions to the various coves along the route from Cadaqués to Cap de Creus.

In the area surrounding Cadaqués you can visit the monastery of Sant Pere de Rodes or the Aigüamolls de l’Empordà National Park.
