Nothing really perhaps a little refresh of the rooms but loved our stay. The bar prices were alittle pricey as nothing else around they can afford to be pricey. and its not for people with walking difficulties,as very hilly up and down to benalamadena,but first rate bus service on the door step. the windows in the room were not tight , u could hear wind whistle. Not enough sun beds and no entertainment in the evening. The hotel pool not opening until 11am. The supermarket being very small and not a lot of choice. More sunbeds are needed around the pool as you could not always get a one!. it's in an area on its own, the nearest shops and bars are a good half hour walk. Internet was terrible - very slow and uncooperative dvd player we broughtwith us could not connect to th old tv !. stronger water pressure would be nice. We booked for a day trip to Granada and it was excellent. For our Seville trip, VDT did not tell us and put us with another travel group and it was no where the same quality nor did they ask if it would be okay. These were booked at the hotel desk. Desk rep wanted keys left at desk if going out. They then did not check to verify who I was before giving me the key in 2 occasions not knowing me.no,but if you do not have a car you need the regular bus service outside to get to the town. We visited on off-season, so the restaurant was not as available as wewould have liked, but otherwise, all was good.The hotel is situated a good distance from the tourist centre of Benalmadena, so unless you enjoy walking a lot, be prepared to use a lot of buses/taxis. Washing up liquid/dish cloth etc would have been useful. Located a bit far from the beaches (at least 15min walking) and the train station (one needs to take a bus or taxi), WiFi is accessible only within few meters from the reception. Impossible to access a printer. I loved the hotel !!!!!!!!. Not realy, but missed the evening entertainments at the pool that were there 4 years ago. Room a bit dated. Apartment definitely needed upgraded especially bathrooms and kitchen not very well equipped. Good for young groups of singles as they took over complex during our stay. Did not cater well for British visitors.
