Upon arrival, the hotel clerk was very helpful and friendly; we were even offered an upgrade at no cost. The room was fantastic, super king-size bed with marble bathroom including a 6ft long bath with 3 showers! Bathroom and Bedroom had patio doors opening to a huge veranda overlooking the city with dining table, chairs and sofas. Someone came to the door with free beer and also coctail vouchers.

The location is very central with a 2 minute walk to the nearest tour bus pick up point and located very close to a petrol station for some late night munchies. No bath plug. Only cold water in large shower (hot water knob didn't work). Windows of our room opened in dark small inside yard. One night when we came back from our exit my husbands nose was blooding i asked the staff for some water because we were at the lobby and they didn't give us. They told me to get water from the mini bar of my room. So i had to go to the fifth floor and bring the water.only Spanish TV stations, not even CNN was available. The rooms locatated towards the main street are a bit noisy. Because of the nearby hospital there are a lot of ambulances passing by.the air condintioning was stuffy, it created headaches when woke up next morning. It had no restaurant for evening meals. Slight disappointment as when it was raining on the Sunday we had to go out. We would have spent more money in the hotel even although drinks were dearer had there been a restaurant. Something to think on I feel.some noise. All the movies on TV are doubled in Catalunian.there was not a tea and coffe machine. it was pretty unconvinience :(. I stayed at this hotel for 6nights after travelling around Europe. I found the staff rude, maybe this had something to do with myself and partner arriving with rucksacks. For this reason I would not recommend this hotel to other backpackers.The shower has no indication of cold or hot, and no place to place your bath stuffs like the shower gel. bathroom unpractical for less mobile people; essential elements missing like a bidet...Sound-proofing between rooms was poor. Very dark hotel, not enough light. Wi-fi only worked in lobby, contrary to what was advertised. Had to check-out a day early, and supervisor would not accomodate any excuse and charged me for the night I didn't use (on a very high season mind you). The hotel has a central air conditioning system. So, we couldn't change/adjust the room temperature during our stay. It was really difficult to sleep due to the temperature of the room (19 C), to high for the Summer !.

From AP2 / AP7 (Madrid/Zaragoza – Valencia/Tarragona):
- Follow the signs for “CENTRO CIUDAD” (city centre).
- When you reach the first plaza (Plaza Francesc Macia), take the first right onto Calle Urgell.
- Continue straight for 100 metres and you’ll see the hotel.

From C33 / AP7 (Girona/France):
- Follow the signs for Centro Ciudad (city centre).
- Continue onto Avenida Meridiana, then take Calle Aragón, until you reach Calle Roma.
- Take the 1st right onto Calle Urgell and continue straight for 200 metres.

From the airport:
Follow the signs for Centro Ciudad (city centre). The airport road turns into the Gran Via once you reach the city. Simply continue straight, passing through the tunnel that crosses Plaza de España, until you reach Calle Urgell. Then take a left and continue 500 metres.

ON PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION:

AIRPORT BUS: The Aerobus departs terminals every 15 minutes. It’s quick and comfortable and has plenty of room for baggage. The trip to the hotel is about 20 minutes. Get off at the Avenida Roma stop. You’ll be at the corner of Calle Urgell, 400 metres from the hotel.

TAXI: You can hail a taxi at the airport terminals. The trip should take about 15 – 20 minutes.

TRAIN/SUBWAY: The train from the airport departs every 10 minutes, and takes 35 minutes. Get off at Sants Station and take Line 5 of the metro (the blue line). Get off at the Hospital Clinic stop. The hotel is 60 meters away.
