We live in Barcelona, so for us wasn't important to be in La Rambla. We stayed here before and like it very much. It is very good value for money. Stuff is very friendly, room service we had food was nice. And they have a lovely garden with beautiful swans in it. The hotel staff really want to be top class and are engaged with helping guests to have a relaxed and stress free stay. The central atrium is classy and the glass ilfts fun A top class hotel.

The breakfast was nice.....room was alright, loved the bathroom...especially the fact that it had a shower and a bath.... The room was a little "tired" with some areas of carpet threadbare There were no coffee/tea making facilities in the room Although within 300 metres of a metro station the hotel is "stuck out" of the city and you always have to journey a fair distance to get to other facilities. Mini bar is really overpriced and air condition in the room was extremely noisy. The INTERNET was the worst ever.....I went back centuries.....always trying to catch the signal.... Rooms were not very sound proof. The location of the hotel is quite far from the center but it is accessible by the L3 Metro line (about 15-20 minutes ride). The aircondition system was noisy. Advertised shuttle service which was not operational. location. Ludicrously expensive beverages. AC was defective. Too far out of city!. Nothing. Rooms not really cosy, hotel too big, behavior of part of the reception staff. The staff is not really friendly, not really helpful, even for helping booking a restaurant in town.. Not so clean,no internet wireless conection... Puertas de la ducha en mal estado. food service, lack of breakfact, good but definitelly not 5*, my rank 4*. I did feel all the springs in the bed and also the shower got blocket of water, so i was unable to take a good shower without the water going everywhere. The carpet in the floor was so finished that i could see thru it, it was that old. And the wireless internet was very unstable and slow. The rooms need to be refurbished. staff facilities. The attitude of the staff to my daughter was truly appalling. Rude, unhelpful, aggressive, not the way to treat anyone, let alone a pregnant lady. I also think that they double charge her. There will be a serious complaint following.
