EddyRooms has an ideal position to visit all main monuments on foot. Really close to Plaza Catallunya (10mins) and the beach as well (25mins).
EddyRooms gives a 'family' feel as it's a huge flat turned into an accommodation. It has 2 bathrooms and about 7-8 rooms. All immaculately clean and looked after. There is a fridge the the guests can use and also tea/coffee facilities free of charge.
The German gentleman who runs the place is very friendly and always happy to help or chat.

Charming old building very well maintained. Beautiful interior made you feel like you were paying a visit to a time long ago.Beautiful floor to cieling windows at least twelve feet tall in the breakfast room allowed you to see a large part of the city. The antique elevator adds great charm, since the cielings are so tall its a long climb up or down the stairs so the elevator is apprteciated and fun to ride. Gunter the owner is very friendly making a stay at Eddyrooms like going to visit an old .
Francisco and Norbert were both very helpful and friendly, giving us
a free map with directions to attractions, as well as offering us
breakfast each morning even though it is not actually included in the
stay. Our room was big enough and there is a lovely terrace and clean
bathrooms to use. My friends and I who travel on a budget were
overall very happy with Eddyrooms. We would definitely stay here
again! Thanks guys!.
EddyRooms is a relatively cheap hotel/guest house in a beautiful typical Barcelona building (including an old classic working elevator). All rooms are clean, and traditionally furnished and the bathrooms are kept clean and tidy. The owner is also very friendly. If you're on a low budget but you still want some quality and customer service, EddyRooms is an excellent choice.
we are group of four girls stay at eddyrooms for four nights. we had enjoyable stay there because location is great, which is pretty short walking distance to metro Girona/ Tetuan. Rooms and place are clean. Breakfast are simple but satisfied. Hotel staff, especially the boss, are very kind and friendly! definitely recommend!.
The owner and the staff were very nice. I love the place - living room,
terrace...etc - completely Barcelona apartment style, and it reminds me
of my Spanish family.
I also enjoyed my breakfast time -fresh fruits, nice coffee and breads, especially when taking the table and seats in the terrace. Cozy!.
The location, being less than 10 mins walk from Plaza Catalunya and a couple of mins from the Metro, was excellent. The owner was very friendly and helpful and the old-fashioned lift was brilliant!.

Myroom was not so big but very comfortable and the hotel is located near the centre. It's great! A lot of cafe and shops are near the hotel. And Eddy was so friendly.

I stayed in the room with a balcony to the main street so at night could be a little bit noisy but the ear plugs sorted that out :) so not any negatives.
My only criticisms would be that the ensuite in our room had a curtain
instead of a door which makes using the toilet a bit awkward. However,
there are bathrooms located in the corridor which are private and okay
to use. Also, as our room was outside the dining area, it was a bit
noisy in the morning. Not a big problem if you have a set of earplugs.
If you're a light sleeper (I'm not) you might wake up in the morning when other guests start using the bathroom, but that's nothing a set of ear plugs can't fix.
