Nice staff, good location and nice decoration and the building itself. Good location for access to city on foot. Car park on site. Even though I struggle with Spanish language and the staff spoke very limted english, they were most helpful and there we no problems.Very helpful staff, good location, on site parking. Ideal location within old ramparts. Friendly staff. Quiet. Traditional style hotel, bed comfortable and room spotless. Breakfast with freshly squeezed orange juice from cafe round corner. A lot of historical interest to see in Avila (Don't miss San Tome monastery esp its choir stalls) and restaurant prices are reasonable. Would definitely recommend unless number of TV channels is your priority. all reviews »
The room was really quiet and decorated beautifully. It was a really peaceful place. situation in old town. It's closeness to the heart of Avila, and it's closeness to the resat of the town outside the walls. It was only a 15 minute walk to the estacion (ReNFe). The smiling member of staff who served my breakfast, (and she was an Italian.). The staff was very nice and the location is good. Breakfast very limted choice. Limited choice of food for breakfast. Number of TV channels for some?. I think for English, non Spanish speaking guests, some prior warning about the lack of English amongst all the hotel staff (save one, and she was Romanian!) might have been useful, but my Spanish improved quickly.
