Enjoyed our stay so much. The location was excellent in walking distance to many amenties. The hotel is in a very good location, with great views of the beach and marina.The staff were very helpful and curteous . It was central, close to the town and right on the beach. Very peaceful and relaxing. The breakfast was excellent catering for most needs. The leisure facilities were very good. The room had double noise proof windows which omitted most of the noise from the large pub and restaurant facilities across the road.

The inability to speak other languages .We had asked for a non smoking room, but were given a smoking room with a beautiful view of the ocean, When we asked to be moved from a smoking to non smoking room we were put on the opposite side of the hotel with a view of the town, slightly disappointing. The only other problems were having two single beds that were pushed together as a double bed, very uncomfortable and kept separating. No clock in the room. No information about local attractions.I would have appreciated tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Recontruction noise from work on the street in front of hotel. on 3rd night no airco in the room (1st floor) without any prior warning. Unfortunately major road works are being carried out immediately outside the hotel at present which affects access.Breakfast very unorganised ! No checking or room numbers taken when going into restaurent. Set meals in the restaurant. We would have preferred a buffet. Also, there was a charge for using the spa facilities and we were expected to have sandals and swimming caps. slightly old fashioned room, spa was basic. Very noisy during the night, until 6am, due to the Casino (both double glazed doors were shut!!).The food served in the restaurant was expensive/below our expectations.arestaurant + nothing is include because the swimming pool and the fitness spa center is not in the hotel - why sercotel Spa ?. Parking , and i think there shouls be more variation at breakfast. having to pay extra for breakfast and for use of swimming pool. Not allowed to use the outdoor pool pictured on the hotelwebsite - only for guests using the suites. Indoor pool was ok though but had to pay extra for any steamrooms/sauna's etc. the spa was a big dissapoinment, also the view was on the wrong side. I felt that the reception staff looked down upon us for having such a discounted rate, but saying that they were professional!. Very poor. Staff were rude and unhelpful. Wanted to charge just for sitting on the sun terrace in fitness centre - we did not want to use the facilities, my wife is slightly disabled! The whole area around the hotel, including the front entrance, is presently undergoing construction. There is no parking at all - hotel has not even arranged slots in the public underground car park. No help at all.

The spa is divided into 2 areas the spa and the samarium which has exclusive access for the guests of the Suites del Mar Hotel. Enjoy the external circuit of the spa which has a pool heated in the winter and open-air in the summer. There is also a foot bath, Jacuzzi and sun terrace with sea views. The indoor circuit has mini contrast pools, a sauna and steam bath and Scottish showers. Go through the rain tunnel and brave the ice cabin. There are soothing massages on offer as well as beauty and styling treatments. You can also enjoy a good workout in the fitness centre. The samarium is free for all guests and includes a mini-gym, sauna (wet and dry) and you can relax thanks to the aromatherapy and soothing music. Please note that the Marabierta Restaurant will be open from 14 June to 30 September. Outside these date, meals included in the half-board and full-board rates will be served in Restaurant Darsena, 150 metres from the property.
