Make sure to use the shuttle service to and from the airport, even if you arrive by airport bus from Barcelona (call ahead).   We were really impressed with this hotel. The staff were all extremelyhelpful and attentive, the room we stayed in was beautiful - so modern andultra clean . The lighting in the bathroom was gorgeous !! We onlystayed for 1 night but we wished we had been able to stay longer as itwas such a lovely hotel . 15 out of 10 !! We had a great time, on staff reccomendations we took public transport services, buses and trains easily, visiting Barcelona and Girona.   The hotel was central to the town,so everything was at hand. It genuinely didn't feel like a hotel. It felt very homely. The hotel itself has been in the family for over 100 years and the Manager (who speaks great English)and his wife are two of the most friendly,helpful hotel owners that I have come across.
