The Wallow Guest House is set in the Wilderness Nature Reserve. Located a 3 km drive from Wilderness Beach, the self-catering accommodation features panoramic views of the surrounding indigenous forest and Outeniqua mountains. All of the private entrance rooms and suites have a fully equipped kitchen and open plan living and dining area. Each has a satellite TV and private bathroom. There are a wide variety of restaurant choices and supermarkets in Wilderness, a 5-minute drive away. Guests can also shop for fresh produce at the weekly night market in Wilderness. There are many activities in the area like bird watching, hiking and canoeing. The more adventurous can choose surfing at Victoria Bay (12 km), diving or mountain biking. An airport shuttle or car hire can be arranged for an additional cost. George Airport is 30 minutes by car.

We LOVED our stay at the Wallow Guest House. The stay was all around superb - the hosts were extremely kind and welcoming and the accommodations were modern and spacious. The gardens around the house are perfectly maintained, it is surrounded by lush nature and the view is truly incredible. We even got to see a family of deer right next to our car! We stayed here on the first night of our trip through the Garden Route (from Cape Town.) We loved it so much that we had to come back & stay on .
all reviews » The house is located up the hill in Wilderness. You'll need a car to go have diner. But the house is fantastic. Extremely quiet, very friendly owners. I had an entire apartment (2 bedrooms) for myself. Breakfast was good and served early (7am) as I needed. It really is a place where I would come back. We enjoyed everything about Wallow Guest House. It's a lovely place to stay in and escape from a big bustling city. There is everything you need during your stay:fridge, microwave, hairdryer, kitchenette, etc. One day we will be back!! Thank you, Maureen and Dave :-). The Wallow Guest House is situated in the most beautiful hilly countryside. Very peaceful and tranquil. The hosts are friendly and accommodating. We regretted that we were only passing through the area as we would have loved to stay there longer. The owners were extremely friendly and really obliging. We liked them a lot. The breakfast they provided was out of this world. Beds were extremely comfortable and units tastefully decorated and welcoming. The warm welcome, the extra attention like chairs and towels for sun bathing! Also beautiful honey and heathy tea! Very clean, good beds and the view was great!. Lovely setting with lovely caring hosts. If you are looking for clean and comfortable accomodation a home away from home. I would recommend Wallow Guest House.
