We often use Phalaborwa as a stop-over en-route to the Kruger Park. This last stay at Tingala was by far the best and next time will probably just stay at Tingala and do day trips into the park. This is a special lodge with special people running it. Craig and Alison were the perfect hosts and the lodge itself was absolutely perfect in all respects - but primarily, the solace of the African Bush, the sounds, the smells, the animals (all over a glass of red and a night time braai from the stoop)

The room was lovely and clean, a bit chilly but there was a heater so we had a comfortable sleep after all. We stayed there on the way from Mapungubwe to Pretoria, a great place for a stop over. Good dinner and breakfast! -
