With the exception of 1 member of staff we were very impressed with the way in which staff had been trained and the way in which they attended to every need of their guests.   My God what a place to stay! We arrived quite late in the dark and woke to the most incredible views on the planet! Food is fantastic, staff are really friendly and helpful. Loved, loved loved our stay here. Great place to stay with kids as there are little farm animals, pool and playground and they organise lots of kids activities! Very romantic ... what people say » for couples too! Was definately a highlight to our trip. Big yes recommendation from us!! - We had a lovely, relaxing stay at Champagne Castle Hotel. It is in a beautiful setting with so many enjoyable walks direct from the hotel gardens. All the staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful. We will definitely be recommending this hotel to any of our friends and family who may visit the Drakensberg.

  We stayed 8 people in the apartment with a huge terasse with a great view over the forrest and the sea in the background. Just beneath is the great and clean pool and a little garden. Little Eden made it really easy to enjoy - their staff are friendly, always happy to help and willing to bend over backwards for you. The accomodation was lovely! We stayed on the top floor and enjoyed a stunning view of the Estuary and Ocean every morning. One night, we even had a hippo wander into the garden - amazing to see - but a little scary at the same time.

  We loved the friendly staff, the decor and environment, the sight and sound of the birds and nature all around us. It was blissfully quiet and restful and naturally beautiful. We especially enjoyed the lady who played the piano and the food was excellent!   Apartments are nice and the manager very helpful and very nice, she goes all out to make sure you are comfortable. Ballito is not in a city area, it is a few minutes from airport so you go to Ballito to relax and enjoy a small town living and that is exactly what we got. Their restaurant is also very nice and offers good food and a nice variety ... what people say » and there are small restaurants around the area should you so wish. - Excellent place to chill with a great restaurant on your door step with great views of the sea
