  We loved the attention to detail. The management and staff (and the owner) were outstanding hosts. The accommodation was just superlative and the service was fantastic. The location was relaxed ,beautiful scenery and just perfect to unwind.   we only had an overnight stay with little time to explore.room was very good and place is situated in a vcery pleasant area - The room was lovely and homely. Hosts were very friendly and endearing. We had a wonderful and truly relaxing weekend.

We celerbrated our 11 year anniversary as well as both my birthday + his @ ur hotel. The night cost us a small fortune as we spent the afternoon @ ur spa (which I was very upset about because we could hear guests talking outside as well as the fact that the spa is to bright for anyone to relax)

  We only stayed for one night but the facilities, staff and cleanliness of the room were good. We had a lovely view of the beach and a comfortable stay.   Beautifully decorated and spacious room in a charming setting with a spectacular mountain view. The owners were extremely attentive and went out of their way to make me feel at home. They also provided lots of good sightseeing and hiking tips around this magnificent area. - We only stayed 1 night, but were very happy with the spacious room.   We loved staying in the rondavels! The whole setting of the property is very pretty. We wished we could have stayed for more than one night! The gentleman who owns the property is very nice - I left something behind accidentally and he even mailed it back to me. The restaurant next door is FANTASTIC too. We were self catering and there is a very well equipped kitchen in the main house together with lounge area and plenty of seating. Very good restaurant adjacent, too. Really helpful and friendly landlord.

  The staff at the Fernery were so friendly and helpful. The attention to detail and care that went into the evening meal (a prepared barbeque) was amazing and we felt really spoiled. I'd highly recommend the Fernery but would suggest a stay longer than we had (only one night unfortunately) as there is so much to experience. It's a bit pricey but... what people say » converting to UK pounds for example, it is really, really worth it. Also the Boxer dog belonging to the owners' son is the most gorgeous dog I've eve - My wife and i stayed in a B&B Chalet for 3 magnificent nights. This place is off the charts with total freedom & tranquility - only wish it would never have ended. We will return to this beautifull haven in the near future ..........

  Great guests, Vanessa and Kerneel put on a great BBQ with fresh meat from their farm. Great food and beautiful setting. The BIG surprise is the beautiful & tranquil stream a short stroll away. Absolutely lovely. Good value for money and a great stay.
