  We loved the attention to detail. The management and staff (and the owner) were outstanding hosts. The accommodation was just superlative and the service was fantastic. The location was relaxed ,beautiful scenery and just perfect to unwind. Good location to stay for your daytrips and game-drives to Addo Elephant Park.

The night cost us a small fortune as we spent the afternoon @ ur spa (which I was very upset about because we could hear guests talking outside as well as the fact that the spa is to bright for anyone to relax)

  We only stayed for one night but the facilities, staff and cleanliness of the room were good. We had a lovely view of the beach and a comfortable stay.   Unfortunately we only stayed one night. It is great value for money. The location is perfect, the staff is brilliant and our room was beautifull.   We loved staying in the rondavels! The whole setting of the property is very pretty. We wished we could have stayed for more than one night! The gentleman who owns the property is very nice - I left something behind accidentally and he even mailed it back to me. The restaurant next door is FANTASTIC too. We were self catering and there is a very well equipped kitchen in the main house together with lounge area and plenty of seating. Very good restaurant adjacent, too.   Warm welcome. Customer service was exceptionally good - nothing was too much trouble. Rooms were extremely comfortable with great sea views and well-equipped. A home from home. - The room and staff/manager were warm and welcoming. The location on the beach was excellent. In all it was a very pleasant stay.

  The staff at the Fernery were so friendly and helpful. The attention to detail and care that went into the evening meal (a prepared barbeque) was amazing and we felt really spoiled. I'd highly recommend the Fernery but would suggest a stay longer than we had (only one night unfortunately) as there is so much to experience. It's a bit pricey but... what people say » converting to UK pounds for example, it is really, really worth it. Also the Boxer dog belonging to the owners' son is the most gorgeous dog I've eve - My wife and i stayed in a B&B Chalet for 3 magnificent nights. This place is off the charts with total freedom & tranquility - only wish it would never have ended. We will return to this beautifull haven in the near future ..........
