  The owners of the Melvin Houser are fantastic... we arrived late at night, 2 days ahead of our reservation, due to travel changes, and not only did they allow us to change our reservation right then, but they were lovely about it and so warm and helpful, even letting us hop on their personal computer to cancel our Joburg hotel that night.Breakfast... what people say » was lovely, and the location is great...just a short walk to the Union Buildings. - I would recommend Melvin Residence to anyone on business or taking kids to University in Pretoria. The welcome is always warm and friendly, the situation is convenient, quiet and peaceful despite being in the city. Piet is always helpful and efficient with any queries.
