Bear - Setting and views of vineyards and mountains. Breakfast. Terrific proprietors who are accessible, helpful and eager for your visit to be a good one. Paarl is definitely the place to stay in the Winelands...still has the feel of a farming village versus the feel of tourist land you get in Franschoek. Restaurants are spectacular--hard to believe you will eat better at the more celebrated ones in Franschoek and Stellenbosch.
