We came without really having an agenda and by the time we finished breakfast she had booked all of our excursions! It was an excellent location from which to explore Cape Town and the surrounding countryside inclsuding the Cape of Good Hope. It was also great to have a kitchen and the option to eat in instead of out - a real treat on a long trip. It was clean, the staff charming and we would certainly go back there again. I stayed at Mountview for 6 nights and my experience was very positive. Joe sat down with me for 30 minutes on the first day and explained about the tours, local stores, safety and all other questions I had knowing that it was my first time in Cape Town. The hotel was kept clean at all times and I had no troubles by commuting to the hotel alone.
