  The hotel is located opposite nelson mandela sqaure (michangelo towers) and therefore you have a lot of eating option and shopping options in the mall.breakfast at the hotel is a good spread so nothing to complain about. The area sandton is very safe and is a good part of the city. I was there for the automechanika held at johannesburg expo center... what people say » , nasrec which is about 28 kms away and takes around 35 mins by taxi (300 za rands). Overall the hotel is good and it was a very pleasent stay. - The rooms were very comfortable and well sized. The bed was extremely comfortable. The location is perfect, right opposite the Sandton City Mall/Nelson Mandela Square and less than five minutes walk from the Gautrain Station. Very nice hotel. Will definitely come back and highly recommended.

  I very much enjoyed the professionalism of staff, the nothing is too much trouble attitude was found from check in through the whole experience. I appreciated the quality of food (breakfast menu was first rate). The Room Service was attentive and courteous at all times. The staff at the hotel were truly exceptional. I quite liked the chambermaid checking in the evening to turn the beddings, drop off a box chocolate and ask if you have additional needs such as additional bottles of water.   Amazing staff. Could not have asked for anything more during a difficult business trip. Suites are spotlessly clean. Centrally located. Great tips on where to find take-always at all times of the day or night. They offer a great privately owned Cab service. Thusane, one of the drivers is great, and will safely get you to wherever you need to go to... what people say » . Hard working, always available, and highly recommended - The centrally located apartments make it easy to access all shopping malls & most offices. The staff were friendly & very welcoming. Check in was smooth. The ambience & decor were amazing, real value for money. I would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone. I also liked the tight security aspect of it. I felt safe there with my family.

  Courtesy of the staff, attentiveness, clean, professional but friendly atmosphere, predictably clean and comfortable room, very comfortable bed, terrific bathroom - I loved the room and the luxury feeling that came with it. But the best thing about this hotel is because of the team that is very helpful and proactive.   letsbookhotel.com secured deposit of r600 and due to lateness of checkin this was not visible to owners so they charged the full amnt again. letsbookhotel.com did phone and apologise, however, we await the r600 to be reimbursed - Marion Lodge is a good place to stay if you're in Joburg.
