Andries Stockenstrom Guesthouse is located in the historic town of Graaff-Reinet, at the heart of the Camedeboo National Park. It features an awarded restaurant and a traditional house, considered a national monument.

Gordon's Restaurant belongs to the slow food movement, offering vegetables from its biological gardens located in the backyard of the house. Menus continually change, presenting seasonal food with fresh ingredients.
You can also enjoy the swimming pool or relax in the veranda, after a day in the old town or visiting the natural surroundings.
Architectural treasures and more than 200 national monuments are part of Graaff-Reinet, the 4th oldest town in South Africa. The Valley of Desolation and nature reserve is just 14 km away.

The whole place has a wonderful ambience and we were pleasnatly surprised when we went through to the restaurant and pool area. The dinner was the cherry on the top an absolutely wonderful meal and freindly staff. We will most definately return and tell others about it.

Being from Johannesburg we expected someone to be there all the time but realise that small towns do not have the same urgency so we have no criticism on this fact anymore.

R300 per head for dinner was a complete rip off, sadly. Breakfast was OK but there wasn't much choice Please understand that these comments are meant in a constructive manner.
