The suites are situated just off Long Street - the street that never sleeps – and they are within easy walking distance of shops, restaurants, bars and clubs. The area is famed for its colourful African flavour, music spills out into the streets and the nightlife goes on until the sun comes up.

Each of the brand new 2 and 3-bedroom apartments has a kitchen and is decorated in a modern style with contemporary comforts and facilities.

Linen and towels are provided. Apartments are refreshed daily and linen is changed once a week, free of charge. Additional housekeeping services are available on request and are charged according to guests’ requirements.

Any refunds processed will be subjected to an 8% Administration Fee.

Within walking distance of the suites - You will find bustling street cafes and pubs as well as Indian, Mexican, African and fine-dining restaurants close by.

Victoria & Alfred Waterfront (2.4 km) - Situated in the heart of Cape Town’s working harbour, the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront is well-established as Cape Town’s premier shopping and tourist destination. Boutiques, restaurants, hotels, outdoor theatre and leisure cruises are just a few of the many attractions on offer.

Table Mountain (3 km) – Platteklip Gorge is the safest, most direct route up Table Mountain. However this mighty chasm, that splits the front of Table Mountain, is best attempted only by the fittest of hikers in the coolest part of the day, as the route includes 1800 steps.

Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens (13 km) - Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden is world-renowned for the beauty and diversity of the Cape flora it displays, and for the magnificence of its setting against the eastern slopes of Table Mountain. Kirstenbosch grows only indigenous South African plants.

Featuring a balcony, all units feature a seating area with a satellite TV and CD player. There is also a kitchen, equipped with a microwave. Each unit comes with a private bathroom with a bath and free toiletries. V&A Waterfront is 2.6 km from FlatRock Suites. Cape Town International Airport is 17 km from the property.

FlatRock Suites were decorated by the well-known local interior decorator, David Strauss. He found his inspiration in the natural beauty that surrounds FlatRock Suites: the imposing mountain, the wide blue sky, the cry of the gulls, the full moon and the starry, starry night.

By Car (from Cape Town International Airport): - Follow the N2 motorway towards Cape Town's city centre. - Continue along the N2 for 1520 minutes, heading towards the V&A Waterfront. - At the 1st set of traffic lights, at the end of the highway, the road becomes Buitengracht Street (the Cape Town International Convention Centre is on the left-hand side). - Continue straight on into Buitengracht Street, towards Table Mountain. - Turn left at the 5th set of traffic lights into Wale Street. - Turn right at the 3rd set of traffic lights into Long Street. - Take the 3rd right into Buiten Street (by little Lolas Corner Café and the Maharajah Indian Restaurant). - FlatRock Suites Reception is on Buiten Street, at the corner of Loop & Buiten Street.
