This hotel lived up to all our expectations and more. We arrived at 10.30am and expected to just leave our luggage, but we were given our room straight away. All the staff were very accommodating and the room was very pleasant. The road was bellow our room but we did not hear any noise at all. A lovely big bath was a treat. We had to leave early for the airport so breakfast was provided and a transfer arranged. We would like to have stayed longer.

They also have a good network of local experts if you are looking for a guide (ask for Domingo). THe Cape Heritage Hotel felt like a little home away from home in the city. Staff were warm, friendly and made an huge effort to be helpful and welcoming. Great location for those on foot and the staff offered great advice for eating out and shopping. Everything! The big nice room, the staff that was extremly helpful and professional, all questions and problems were solved, very nice breakfast, excellent location in the center of the town. One of the best hotel experiences we have had. The staff was terrific, the breakfast was excellent, the location with courtyard and adjourning restaurants was perfect. The decor and quality were very good and it was the best place I have stayed yet in Cape Town. I enjoyed the warm welcome, the nice decoration, the free Wifi that work very well, the art gallery (d'Vine) and the history of the place. It's close to many places (15 min walk from Waterfront). The staff was very nice and welcoming .The service was excellent ,the hotel was very nice ,pleasant decor and an excellent breakfast .We will stay here again easily . Love love room! Location excelent, central but just far enough from noisy Long Street. Fabulous restaurants next door. The rooms were stunning. The bathroom was all you could hope for. Breakfast was also excellent. There were no negatives about this hotel. Nothing!. That we had to leave... Loud music from the restaurant underneath, but the staff moved us as soon as we complained. Nothing at all. No warm water for my bath in the morning. Lots of stairs - may be a problem for some. Music coming from the square below especially on a Friday evening when there is live music and it goes on till very late. In addition noise from people leaving the restaurants late at night sometimes after 1am. As a result I would not stay here again despite its positive points.

Opened in June 2007, the main goal of the hotel is to make guests feel as if they are home away from home. While we spare no effort or detail in providing a unique hospitality experience, the environment is also very important to us, and we do all we can to recycle and preserve our natural resources.

By car: - Arriving at Cape Town International Airport, follow the N2 into Cape Town. - After about 15 km the N2 climbs steadily uphill and bears to the right. - At the top of the hill the N2 forks. - Follow the right-hand fork, direction of Cape Town city centre. - Take the Strand Street exit after 3 km, just after passing the Holiday Inn on your left. - Continue straight ahead on Strand Street, crossing 7 sets of traffic lights. - Turn left onto Bree Street at the 8th set of lights, you will see the Tulip Inn on the corner. - The hotel is at the 2nd set of lights, on the right-hand side. - You can park your car on Riebeeck Square Car Park after unloading your luggage in front of the hotel.
