Staff was nice and helpful. I got room with window on the highest floor as I requested. Very very close to Mustafa (1-2minute walk) and a new mall, City Square Mall (just across the street) which is connected to the MRT (Ferrer Park). This station is just 1 station away from Dhoby Ghaut, a major interchange station on the MRT of Singapore. They tidy up our room, change the towel and provide new bottled water everyday. As I travel with my kids who are 2 and 6, I prefer this budget hotel than hos. all reviews »
Tai Hoe Hotel is nice and suitable for those who wants a budget but comfy place. the location is perfect, near to the mall and 5 minutes walk to Mustafa shopping center and also to mrt station. the room is neat and clean, also the bathroom. definitely will come back soon.
tips: you better take mrt to get the hotel than taxi, somehow I've paid quite expensive taxi's bill from changi airport.
Perfect location! Right opposite a Shopping centre, an MRT tube station, loads of Restaurants and cafes. the Mustafa centre, a 24 hour mini supermarket. I've stayed in singapore 3 times and this has been by far the best location.
Rooms were clean and absolutely fine for the average traveller.

Hotel location is great. Surrounded with restaurants, Mustafa shopping centre, and City Square Mall which connected to Farrer Park MRT station. Family room is big enough for 5 persons (2 adults, 3 kids) with 3 beds (110cm each), eventhough no windows available it was really comfortable. Toilet inside the room is big and quite clean.
Very close MRT Farrer Park & City Square mall, receptionist & housekeeping did fully with smiles & helpful. Internet speed in room is rather fast ( Internet code provide to each room daily ). I am really happy to stay in this hotel, room is spacer than other budget hotel in Geyland.

Location is very accessible to the MTR and very convenient to Mustafa Center for 24H shopping. Lots of food choices, though mostly Indian food as it's very near Little India.
Location is really the hit point, because it was really closed to the
mrt Station. And it was just about 50 meters from Mustapha Centre. And
easy to find place to eat.
Although rooms are small ( usual for Singapore) they were clean & adequate for a short stay.Location is great close to everything in Little India.

The location is fabulous, directly on Kitchener Rd and seconds to the Mustafa centre. Ok for budget Singapore accommodation but its a bed at night that's it.

Staff weren't amazingly friendly, but they weren't rude either so nothing really to complain about.
Their wifi system isn't great. It's fast enough but kept asking me for my username and password when not used for 10 minutes or so.
TV was very small, but I came to see Singapore and not just sit in a hotel room, so I guess for most people this won't be an issue.

I had no hot water for three quarters of my 3 day stay!
The noise from the street even on the 5th floor is deafening. The rooms are very, very small and basic. Not even a kettle. No little luxuries or frills here. Cramped bathrooms. Unhelpful staff. Hallways reak of timber polish to the point of bring nauseating. Wifi did not work. No free toiletries or DVD player as described.
Bad smell right when entering room. Broken faucet in the toilet.
