Hotel is in a walking distance to Haram mosque. The room is suitable for family and has quit air conditioning. The breakfast arrangement was a bit strange, they have separate section for people from iran and another section for malasia, we were sent to a seprate area for arab.I Think this because there is different buffet for different taste. They have children play area with computer games but we did not see it because we were busy visiting haram mosque.
all reviews » In spite of 4 hour gap between checking in and out the staff tried their best to extend my check out time without any charge. The rooms where very spacious, clean and well furnished. The reception staff where very polite and friendly. The hotel is well situated and reasonably located from the holy Prophets mosque. The hotel is located only around 600 mtr from Masjid Nabawi. There are lots of shops, restaurants, money changers and many more nearby. The quadrauple room is quite big with four 90x200 beds. Inroom facilities are good as for 5-star hotels. The stay in the Madina Harmony is really very comfortable because of its location which is very close of Haram. Particulalry , the buffuet breakfast is very fantastic. I would love to stay here on my next visit also. 1- Hotel not full 2-Iftar Buffet is good selection everyday 3-Elevators quite good and enough 4-value for money 5- room cleaning was done everyday , but had to remind them. Near to Haram Nabawi, spacious room, satisfactory breakfast buffet primarily Arabic style not international. Easy check in and out, but they asked for prepayment. Very near to the Haram and the staff are very courteous. Check-in and check out are hassle free. Good parking space. Very good breakfast. Ambience is good. My wife tought the carpet is not clean however I did not notice. Checking in at 4pm whilst checking out at 12 midday is too big a gap. Many roads to the hotel were closed due to construction/ development. Need to go around by car to find the hotel. 1- no wi fi in rooms as promised 2- dark design 3- they forced me and my partner to either have iftar together or suhoor together , they did not allow one of us to have different choice 4- the hotel is not 5 star , but 4 star 5- the hotel price got more expensive by 100 riyal after i stayed one week. Complicated to reach because of detour around it. No small kitchenette in room. Small underground parking. When checked in reception staff was a little bit unfriendly but was quick and cooperative. There is a tea maker but no tea or coffee sachets available. Not sure how it gets a 5 star rating but I am sure someone has set their rating standards a little low. The reception staff are completely unhelpful with a serious attitude and some training in customer service would be very useful. In my books you do not ignore a customer waiting while you go about doing your own paperwork. Might also help if you band all mobile phone texting by staff while on duty. Difficult access road leading to parking. rooms service is poor. the food, the mixed grill was good for nothing. Food was not very good. They should include some more dishes specially Asian. Smoking allowed in hotel enterance. restaurant breakfast is quite good but need to be modified and add some items. Wasnt cleaned regular. smell of the hotel and room was little bad because they are not refrshing the air all windows closed ,when i asked them to open it they did not do it. Furniture are little old and the carpet is not clean. All other facilities are very good. Reception staff are kind of slow and not very friendly. Water pressure in the bathroom was very low and I would recommend if they could resolve it for their future guests. Breakfast options were very less specially for non-Arab community. The room was bit dark and it lack the sun light. Breakfast served was terrible - limited in choice, cold on most occasions and no taste. No one from my family and friends we spoke to enjoyed this experience. Great disappointment!. too crowded. The open buffet. The reception staff cannot speak good English. The room sink was blocked. we were not happy with the services overall. The breakfast standard was poor. This is definitely not 5 star hotel.
