If you stay at a hotel in Kazan, I strongly suggest you stay here. You won't find a better, more helpful staff. The hotel is very conveniently located and has a tourist map available at reception. I had a delightful large room, decorated in a splendid Venetian style. It felt like a room in an extremely high-end hotel, but for a mere $100 a night!
The staff were pleasant and very helpful.

Very friendly staff, nice and clean room, very quiet - we didn't hear other visitors at all (we were in the hotel part). Located just the opposite of the railway station which is super for travellers by train. Great laundry service. -
