The hotel was very nice and inviting. The bar gives free drinks at current times of the day. The hotel is steps away from the beach. When you go to the beach the staff is there waiting for you and all you have to do is show them where you want your chair and umbrella and they set you up. Compared to the other hotels on the strip the marriott is the best for your money. It is well situated and has a very nice beach location.
all reviews » Excellent hotel in a fantastic location. All of your needs are in a 5 block radius. The breakfast buffet was one of the best I have ever had. Even if a tad pricey, the service was superb. The waitress Diana was out of this world. Her service was beyond excellent. If you can, get a room facing the beach. It is worth the extra price. The view is spectacular. Employees were always very helpful, courteous and accommodating, and very friendly. The bed was comfortable, the room was clean and modern. They gave us a great view of the beach from the 15th floor. The beach is beautiful and not overly crowded. Walking distance to several restaurants and stores. The hotel was a perfect place for a mother & daughter mini-vacation and we loved walking onto the beach from the hotel to lay in the sun with their signature cocktails. The hotel"s best asset, however, is the incredible staff who were invariably helpful and friendly. I am a handicap individual. Upon arrival staff met us with a cheerful caring demeanor. Staff was excellent in accessing our needs. I stayed in a room designed specifically for my medical needs. The service was excellent as well as the buffet resturants. The hotel location is terrific: on the beach, surrounded by boutiques and great little restaurants (try Alibaba - wonderful Turkish food). Free wifi in the room and free bottled water were nice. Staff was wonderful! Very kind and helpful with suggestions about the area. It was also really nice to have our flight information in the lobby with a place to print boarding passes!. the service was amazing ! Every staff member was willing to help and answer questions with open arms. Service, food everything was amazing. will go back with my kids this year. Everything we got to experience was wonderful. Food was excellent! and right off the beach. A hidden treasure is the little casino restaurant..wonderful. The hotel is very nice but the surrounding around is pretty shocking when you first see it. There are lots of abandoned buildings, bars on all of the residentail homes windows. I felt very unsafe walking at night on the strip, but there were plenty of cops around which was a good thing. Also the hotel is pretty pricey, mixed drinks were on the higher end. The only distraction from a relaxing long weekend was not a hotel-related one but the loud and boisterous crowds of teenagers attending proms on Friday and Saturday nights at the hotel who made it difficult to get elevators or service in a timely manner. I was charge an unexpected $300, separated from the on line booking fee. Hotel food and on-site parking were a bit pricey. i didnt like the fact that i had to leave . but there was nothing wrong with the hotel. The fact that we couldn't stay longer. Nothing ...It was Perfect!!!. Everything was great. No microwave s in the rooms. Urine odor in the elevators. The soliciting on the local corners. I don't think those people should be in that area!. The parking rate. They assigned us a fourth-floor room, which had almost no view from the window. Check in was a little slow. i found it to be quite expensive. i would consider the price to be in excess of the value. the pillows were very flat and uncomfortable. Bathroom needed a fan. Pool was small and lacked charm - no real view, no open air restaurants or places to eat or places to lounge in the outdoors, despite being on the beach. Carpet in room was damp, air con didn't eliminate dampness. Lobby was dark and very small. food was terrible. The room first they gave us a room that the view was the rooftop of a building. Then I asked for room with poolside and they gave me one at the very end of the pool which was nothing to look at but bushes and they charged me a upgrade on that room. Very disappointed with my room plus the bathroom had a leak on the ceiling. that i booked my room 4 months in advance and still had to wait 6 hours to check in.
