We had rented a car and did not have any clue where we would park it. The desk clerk was so happy to assist us. He gave us the last space in the back of the hotel at 2100. The desk clerks were all very friendly and let us leave our bags for about 8 hours. They even found a camera charger that I had left in the room. The clerks were just fantastic and deserve a big kudos!!! The location was great.
all reviews » Staff was very friendly and helpful and spole English.Breakfast was good with a lot of variety. Location was good for tourist since it was near Old Town. Parking was behind the hotel and very accessible if you needed to use your car. Overall nice, convenient place to stay in Krakow to be near the tourist sites. Lots to see and do. Got a shuttle bus to take us around the city. Very interesting. We had booked a tour to visit Austwich, Birkenau and the Salt mines. Hotel is ideal for travelling to visit all of these locations. The menu for food was excellent with great service and excellent prices. The room was excellent, very comfy beds and awesome pillows! we stayed in the "Jazz" part of the Hotel.The breakfast was very good and a good choice for everyone.There was plenty of food and the staff kept filling up everything!The Hotel staff were very pleasant and helpful to us. great location, great staff, good breakfast included and dinner in the dining room was inexpensive and very nicely presented. did I mention the great staff? they bent over backwards to help me. I will gladly stay there again, and wont even bother looking for other Krakow hotels. The location of this completely renovated boutique hotel is ideal for visitors to the Old Town market square area of Krakow. It is within easy walking distance of all the major scenic attractions. Small room, but well appointed. Wonderful breakfast buffet included in room price. "Jazz" new annexe we were in was totally different and fun....liked the Jazz posters everywhere! Breakfast was good and the location perfect.....A simply great city centre hotel, and nice staff members like Bartek were exceptional !! Recommend this hotel to anyone. Very centrally located. Was unable to get a table for 4 the first morning for breakfast as the restaurant was full. Apart from that everything was excellent. The 1st night you do hear the Trams which run outside the Hotel but we never heard them after that 1st night so its really not a problem at all. there was nothing that I didn't like. couldn't find fault with anything. Nothing, really. It would have been nice if the rooms had been larger, but that wasn't major annoyance for us. Also, people who take the elevator to their floors may still have to cope with some stairs. The chairs in this room were too contemporary and not so comfortable; the beams over the bed and opposite were too sloping and low which caused a few bumped heads! I suggest the Jazz annexe could have a separate elevator as to walk to our room (on the 3rd floor) was quite a hike. having to leave at end of holiday. A little bit noisy being next to a major tram line, but only a few rooms affected & you soon get used to it. The hotel had a restaurant and combined bar. Would be better split. On one night the restaurant had a private booking so residents could not use facilities. The beds could have been more comfortable. No English-language channel on TV despite information to the contrary in the hotel info provided in the room. Room was adequate but a little dated if you chose the older part of the hotel. Newer section of hotel has designer style rooms which are brighter and more recently refurbished. Our room was a bit inconvenient to access (stairs). My wife and I are both in our 60's and have issues with our knees. Wifi was useless because the signal was to weak. Some light sleepers in street-facing rooms might find the noise of trams a problem. No coffee facilities in a standard room, wehad to ask and even then no milk was supplied. The bar ran out of beer and was replenished with 2 small barrells 12 hours later. Not good enough for the largest hotel chain in the world. Noise from the trams in road facing room - despite upgrade to room Noise from bar patio after midnight. Wanted to visit the castle on the Monday but did not realise castle closed on Mondays which was very disappointing. No air conditioning but apparently available in some rooms if you know to ask for it. Trams were noisy with window open on to street but I was able to sleep well enough and block it out. Lack of coffee/tea making facility in room. Occasional rumble/vibration from passing trams early morning. Location next to the tram can be a little bit noisy. The trams in the street were a bit noisy, particularly at 5 am, and they made the windows rattle. Breakfast was ok, just would have liked a bit more variety with hot food. Thin mattress, no safe, no A/C. on our visit,the rain. Noisy trams. Room 203 has drainage noise from rooms above starting around 06.00 hrs. Nothing. leaving to come home . Twin beds Coffee Our floor wasn't serviced by a lift but they did carry our bags for us. Room was noisy. Air conditioning was not working. Small room in Jazz section and no air con working. Little communal space.
