The hotel was in an excellent location and the facilites were clean, comfortable and with plenty of hot water and heat. The breakfast was plentiful and tasty. In addition, the staff took extraordinary efforts. I forgot my hat and the staff found me at the bus station to give it to me!! Wonderful staff!!. The hotel was situated on the Plaza de Armas, which provided us with excellent access to the quaint little shops nearby. The beds were comfortable and warm. Bathtubs and showers with great water pressure.

We were treated as queens. The appartments are nice, with confy bed and there was a bath and hot water.. Not much to see at Puno, just Titikaka Lake and, if it's Sunday, there's a big presentation at Plaza de Armas. Great hotel. Comfortable beds and one of the best showers in South America! Staff stored my bag while I was for two days on the island. As often is the case in Peru, heat was not available in the bathroom. Consequently, the bathroom was really cold so when you got out of the shower, brrrrr... Or when you went to the bathroom at night, it was very uncomfortable. This may be resolveable with a heat lamp in the bathroom. A three star hotel should have heat in the bathroom. It is an old hotel, and the noise travels through the opened staircases it seemed like all night long. Bring ear plugs to facilitate the buffering of the noise! There was plenty of access to tea, but there was no access to coffee until 6AM. Nothing. There's not much to do at the city. The breakfast and the coca mate was not too good... Can be a bit noisy in the mornings, with pan-pipe covers of Celine Dion starting at around 630, and noise getting into the bedroom. Room window was a false one, so no light or fresh air in the room. very noisy, band started at 5 am on the main square , it was festival time and dont really mind except we had been travelling for almost 20 hours and were suffering from the altitude so not really a hotel problem. phone call from staff at 10pm which woke us all up. Except for the bell boy the staff were a bit offhand. The high prices charged for drinks from the machine, printing etc. Breakfast was very basic. Wifi not great in every room. Wi-fi had some problems in the 6th floor but were fixed. When I got there, my reservation was not in the system. They wanted us to pay right away and also needed aq printed version of the booking confirmation. Felt like they didn´t trust us at all. Breakfast could be improved. Room with no windows and small tv.Bathroom tiles with moisture.
