Everything! The staff at San Antonio Suites could not have been more helpful. We were met at the bus station by kind and welcoming Marco who paid for our cab and took us back to San Antonio Suites where we had our first real HOT showers in weeks (many places in Peru say they have hot showers but really don't and it can be quite cold in the winter!). all reviews » I can't say enough good things about San Antonio Suites. From the moment I booked the hotel until the second we left they were extraordinarily helpful. This was the best customer service I have ever experienced. They helped me book tours before I arrived, recovered my lost wallet for me, set a room aside for me to take an important phone call and re-arrange my luggage (after we checked out) and in general were extremely nice and helpful. In particular Berta and Marcos were extremely helpful. Every one of their staff was extremely friendly, helpful, and made every effort to make you feel very welcome. The co-manager, Victoria, can communicate in good English. Upon our request, she booked in advance a 2 days-1 night Titicaca Lake tour and reserved taxi to Juliaca Airport for us with a reputed company and at a very reasonable price. They provided ample breakfast with a variety of fruit and choice of fried or scrambled eggs. They offered the best value for budget travelers. Everything was great, great location, excellent & friendly staff. Breakfast was the best I've had in 1 month !!! Rooms are clean and really good with NO noise like other hotels. I needed a bus to Arequipa and everything was fully booked, it took them a few minutes and a few calls and they organized it for me, I was really impressed because it was cheaper than by the company online !!!!. They absolutely went out of their way to help with arranging tours, bus connections, etc. I arrived at Puno train station and was met by Quon in the pouring rain and taken by taxi to the hotel for free. WiFi was very spotty, downstairs was unheated in the morning (so we wore coats to breakfast), some issues with water and electricity while we were there, beds, only so-so. Intermittent Internet Wi Fi Connection. Breakfast offerings were monotonus. Wifi is not strong in my room. No wifi in our room. Breakfast was somehow poor, internet was not always stable. The hotel did not have hot water but very limited off and on. The water pressure was terrible. The wifi was very weak and did not work all the time. Was really disappointed based on the reviews that I read before booking.
