  This is a setting to die for. You really get the feeling that you are in a boutique hotel in Europe.We were eager to get back to the hotel everyday to sit on our balcony and drink in the views.We loved the big artworks and antique furnishings. Don't let the distance from Q town put you off. It's only a $20 taxi ride away - All staff were extremely accommodating and helpful. Staff were aware of who we were and which room we were in, providing a level of commitment to the guests.The hotel is perched on a breathtaking view of the river that no photo can do justice. After spending the day adventuring the Otago wineries, coming back to a reserved cinema room made the whole stay as if we were the only people around. And we weren't. Thank you again to the management and staff for making our stay a memory!

  This BB is a wonderful place to stay if you are looking for a home away from home. The owners of the BB were very helpful and knowledgeable about all activities nearby. Although this is located about a 5min drive from downtown Queenstwon the view that you get of the lake from our personal patio was amazing. We were on our honeymoon so we got treat... what people say » ed to a patio with the hot tub. This is a great place I highly recommend it. Monika - The staff/owners were very friendly and helpful, but not in an overbearing way. The rooms were very clean and the owner cooked us a delicious breakfast every morning. He also had numerous maps and brochures of the Queenstown area and attractions. Make sure to get the room with its own private hot tub and fireplace, with a view of Lake Wakatipu... definitely worth it!
