Staff very accommodating..very friendly..went out of their way to accommodate our needs ...would absolutely recommend this motel as a stay for early morning free shuttle service to airport. 5:00am exactly on time. 5 star for budget accomodation. Although the outside of the building is quite old, the inside of the room is actually quite clean and modern. Love the large flat screen TV and the king size bed. receptionist also ask if I needed free shuttle service to the airport.

I did not like the fact that if your staying there for 1 day or maybe 2 days extra knife, forks, spoons, teaspoons, bowls, and plates you know some of us can not afford to dine out...but rather buy snacks or food at the market or supermarket... I asked for another set of towels as I wanted a shower from travelling to Auckland. My flight was at 3 in the morning so wanted to have a shower before I left and was told no. Check in at 12 but my room wasnt ready. Nothing. Could have used a toaster in the room. Looks like I got charged twice for my stay so will be looking into that. At 6 am, there was no hot water in the shower. Nothing. Nothing. old windows that hadn't been updated and surrounding neighbourhood didn't look good. Expensive laundry services, the Korean staff hardly spoke English and were very surprised we came (as if letsbookhotel.com did not send the proper info on time), the key to the room hardly safe. The overall impression rather poor unsafe and a bit scary. Much better on the pictures. No aircon - a bit stuffy. hotel is in a kind of "residential desert", only one gas station in walking distance (with decent coffee and pies), and taxi to the center of Auckland is quite pricy. It's little noisy at night, because incoming guests to and from airport use to arrive all the night. Things were done on the cheap, the staff hovered over us for the 10 o'clock check out. The mattresses are too soft with very minimum support. it smelt a bit weird and the shower was really terrible. Thought is was closer to the Airport. Staff could be more friendly. Tide mark around the bath, toilet had been used and not flushed, kids toy box left in room, and my room was $79.00 and got charged $80.00....room by the main road a bit noisy....but other wise ok....I Have been there twice... The first time it was great....this time not so great....A-A-A-. Arrived at midnight, slept well until 5.30am when very noisy traffic woke us (the windows did not close properly). Only two towels in bathroom and no bedside lights, had to get up to switch off light!. Staff could have been a bit more friendly and relaxed. very tired accommodation. Broken door off it's hinges, light switches not working, no bedside lights (or even main switch). Noisy by road. Advertised for Sky and Internet, there was none. The second night there was no room service so had to go home and get spare toilet paper for the bathroom. Didn't provide specified requests. very tired motel staff late to pick up in the morning and general lack of professionalism.
