The employees at the restaurant/bar were very friendly and engaging.great little bar associated with it, beautiful surroundings. Lovely spot - old - very simply furnished good for a stopover before traveling on. Good food. Great Breakfast. all reviews
surroundings are beautifull. the location of the motel with its own marina. The terrace is great. near the highway, near the water, near amsterdam, in a good location of Vinkeveen. The rooms were a bit old - spartan, no frills, but at least clean.a bit hard to find, but well worth the search, the hotel building is in need of some upkeep.Although classed on the website as Amsterdam the motel is a 20 minute train journey and then a 10 minute car journey from Centraal Station - I think this should be made clear - if we hadn't hired a car from the airport it would have cost us a fortune in taxi fares!. the beds were lumpy and too soft.old building, the bathroom was horrible, roomentrydoors are old, noisy and horrible, motel is in front of carparkingarea,and cafe (noisy), there is no small window in the room witch you can keep open at night because the roomfront (entrydoor) is a big window like a shopwindow with a dirty curtain. the carpet was dirty and old, shower had a old boiler for wamrwater, heather in the room are old and rusted. innerspring mattress was not good to sleep (painful). there is no telefon in the room.
