In the area, there are beautiful cycling tours or walking routes. You can rent bicycles and a longboat at the hotel. There is free public parking possible on site.

The great location right on the lake! Friendly staff, fantastic breakfast, very large apartment size rooms, parking just outside the door, quaint little town just up the road.very large room for the price. The room was large--sleeping, living, and kitchen areas. In earlier days this was a very good hotel. The staff was very helpful. The breakfast provided was excellent. Convenient to Schipol. In spite of the negatives below, it was adequate for a night.

In our second room the shower was the moldiest I've ever seen. Everything was dusty--shelves, wine glasses.Strange entrance to room. Either via restaurant/conference rooms or via outside. Hotelroom could use a bit up-to-date refurnishing.YOu could not open the windows, only the doors, which you wouldn't do while sleeping of course. The air inside the rooms was very stale and there was a strange smell in the air.Rooms need serious upgrades/renovations. No Internet in rooms and in bar it's tooooooo expensive.Wireless connectivity was poor. The room was very old.
