Herberg Rijsbergen is set in an historic mansion just 2 km from the Schiermonnikoog beaches. It offers modern accommodation with free Wi-Fi, an extensive breakfast and a large south-facing garden.
Each room at Herberg Rijsbergen has a little seating corner, box-spring bedding and a small bathroom with shower. As the room do not have a TV they provide a relaxing ambiance. Most rooms are situated in a separate modern wing adjacent to the building.
Every morning, a breakfast including fresh coffee, breads and juices is served in the breakfast area. There are several restaurants located in the village, which is 5 minutes away on foot.
The ferry service to Lauwersoog is 3.3 km away from the Rijsbergen Herberg.

On edge of town (I am a birder, and right out the gate was easy walking and good birding), yet within easy reach of anything I needed in town. Excellent walking and cycling also right at hand.
Great croissants at breakfast, quiet yet close to everything. Good bed, nice heavy pillows. Great honour system for nightcaps and such.all reviews
Wonderful place - friendly, authentic, with a library and good reading lamps, also above the beds!.

No towel rack in the bathroom, very smallish closet in the room.
A pity they don't have double beds!.
Small charge for coffee in the kitchen comes across a bit petty, just raise the room rate by a fiver and include it.
A bit noisy- could hear people in the hallway.
