Very good comfort for money, room true to internet pictures, location of the hotel is excellent. Near the centre and parking available. The room was up to standard, the staff friendly and efficient (which wehad also noticed at the Bastion Hotel Amsterdam Amstel juste before). Near centre. The restaurant is very poor, long waits for food and the food was very short on ingredients and expensive. The bill when presented was overstated by more than € 100.I could sleep undisturbed (the location was good, far away enough from cafe's and crowds), there was a minibar in the room. Hotel was close and cheap, rooms were comfortable.Location. Message we would like you to pass on to the town officials: roadsigns are not clear enough, they seem to indicate public parkingsbut not areas of the city so tourists like us had some difficultyfinding the hotel. Parking was not easily available at the site. The breakfast on sunday was really crowded. Yes, I really did not like the harsh strict check out on 12:00 sharp. Farther, check in also was strict not before 3:00 pm although we arrived at 10:00 am. It is really annoying. The devices in the bathroom did not work properly or were almost broken.smell in hotelroom and on the floor. Apparently, it has not been renovated since long time ago.The aircondition too loud during night time. Not possible to switch off during night time since windows for fresh air good not be opened. small room, parking facilities. the cleaning could be done better, one of the receptionists was not very nice to me when I asked something; I had to ask several times before the minibar sheets (to write down the consumptions I took) were placed in my room. Two chambermaids walked into our room without knocking !!. Check-in was supposed to be from 12, but there weren't any rooms available until after 4pm. We were told to go to the town square and find somewhere to have a drink and come back in an hour. Limited parking spaces available and no parking for vans. The hotel is supposed to be 4 star - it's not! We had a deluxe room, it was like walking into a caravan - cramped with too much furniture. The room was covered in dust, you could hardly see yourself in the bathroom mirror it was so dirty. The bath and shower fittings were rusty and the shower leaked from the hose. There was a poor selection in the mini bar.This was nt a delux hotel as it states - it was rather shabby - itemspulled off the wall in the room, receptionist wearing dirty uniform.

Coming from the motorway you turn right at the first traffic lights (direction Centrum - Wijk 11 t/m 23).
*Just after the bridge over the river Maas you follow the right traffic lane.
At the first set of traffic lights you turn right (Bastion Deluxe Hotel Maastricht / Centrum is signposted here).
Turn right again at the end of this street and you will find Bastion Deluxe Hotel Maastricht / Centrum after approximately 100 metres on your left at no. 27.

Coming from the motorway you go straight on (in the direction of Eindhoven / Heerlen / Aken - Wijk 22 t/m 25).

From railway station Centraal you can take almost any bus to the Markt.
On the Markt you will see the statue Minckelers (recognizable by the torch). This is the beginning of the Boschstraat.
