Easily the friendliest staff of anywhere we stayed across Europe.
Want to make your own cup of coffee or tea in your room ... it's all there for you. Want to iron your clothes ... there is an iron and ironing board in your room ( the first time we'd seen this in Europe in over a month of travel). It's these little differences that just make travel so much easier.

The hotel was a block from the Rijksmuseum -- the breakfast room looked across the street to the back archway. We were two blocks from the Van Gogh Museum, and on the tram and bus lines that led everywhere. We were able to take a BUS to and from the airport by walking a few steps.

Let's be clear - this is a budget hotel. Basic furnishings, shared bathroom. If this is what you are after this is a very good choice. Great location. Tram at door.
