  A very good alternative to a dull hotelroom. Could make our own food, you relax better in an apartment than a hotel room. Situated in a quiet area, but only 5 min walk to innercity Amsterdam. - Very lovely room, great communication with tjeed. I would stay there again in future.

  it was a secure venue in a great location, the owner was very understanding and helpful and I would recommend it to anyone looking for accomadation in the city - Great location, great price, and very homely. Very comfy bed.

  The fact that it is so close to the main train station and near the most exiting area of Amsterdam, as well as the fact that my staying in the hotel provided me much comfort. - chilling at the bar. Very interesting European hotel with a lot of character. Room and bed were comfortable with excellent housekeeping services every day. Luggage check room was available to store my luggage since I arriv... what people say » ed early in the the morning (7:30AM). - The location was great (about 2mn walk to Centraal Station, right next to the shopping area, restaurants and bars, etc...), friendly and helpful staff, nice varied buffet for breakfast, quiet hotel considering the location (even on New Year's Eve!), all facilities provided in clean and cosy room. We will definitely choose The Avenue hotel again for any future trips to Amsterdam.
