  Loved the location! The room was clean, and so was the bathroom. Self check in/out. Soup, salad, and sandwich take away store just around the corner. Nice view from the room. - It is basically an apartment for rent. It was nice and clean and i much preferred it to constant knocking on the door asking if you want towels.

  Good host who provided useful local information on nearby pubs and cafes. Very close to Central station and tram routes. Flat well sourced with tea/coffee and travel guides/maps. Luckily we were on first floor - good tip to ask for this flat. Able to leave bags in cycle shop next door which was also run by our host. Very good value for centre... what people say » of city. - Great location, very easy to find, very central-just off Dam square and a 5 minute walk from central station. Staff very friendly and very helpful, carried our luggage upstairs. Sorted problem with tv immediately. Happy to store luggage for you before you book in and after you book out. Standard is similar to that of a good youth hostel in the uk.

The studio was ample for four people, clean, well equipt and had personal touches like fresh flowers, making it a little like home.   The environment in the hotel was very peaceful and quiet, the staff was very friendly and tourist helpful. The room was amazing, the beds were comfortable, the bathroom was organized, clean and fully functioning, containing all the necessities a person needs.   The host, Pieter, was great. He was very knowledgeable about the area, especially the neighborhood, and was able and willing to show me things that aren't in the travel books. The neighborhood, the Jordaan, is very walkable to just about any place in Amsterdam and the bus connections are pretty much around the corner. Instead of a chandelier, for example, there is a rack of reindeer antlers hanging from the ceiling. - The room was big and wonderfully decorated. Highlight was the bed which was super duper comfortable. Location is good within walking distance of all the major sights and close to 2 different tram stations. Room was well equipped with fridge, microwave and kettle. Hence perfect for getting ansy storing some food in your room. The owner is very sweet and helpful.
