The kind of classic Dutch townhouse I love: cosy, with a very steep staircase (not a problem for us but it might matter for others), overlooking a beautiful square. Staff was helpful, they went out of their way so we could check in earlier. Overall, good value for money. The breakfast is really good. The rooms are cozy and confortable, a bitte small, nevertheless the relation value for money is very good.

Every day the rooms are cleaned, always friendly and helpful staff, especially during breakfast, 5 minutes to downtown. Location, Staff , Restaurant & location again , Terrace outside room. Bars outside the hotel are very relaxing. i felt it was efficient,clean and friendly and also there was a bit of life and I stayed on a Thursday. Very friendly staff. Nice and clean real value for the money we paid. Great location near city centre. I got instructions to come specifically at some hour, got there, nobody at the reception again. Then later, when somebody did came at the reception, there was a problem that I came too late. Breakfast was very good. The staff was kind especially that kind blond woman. Location. The location was central. Classic Dutch townhouse unfortunately means you can hear everything that happens in the staircase, and other guests were pretty noisy in the morning. But really, this didn't spoil it for us!. Very basic rooms, no wardrobe or shelves. Reception was always unattended, so we needed to go searching for the staff to the restaurant. Sometimes wi-fi break after 23 hours. Nothing , you get what you pay for !. no bathroom in my room but I did book late and I knew I was getting a shared bathroom. shared toilet. Small room for 3 people. The 3 single beds were next one of each other. The heat didn't work at one point but the staff assisted us and it was fixed. well, maybe the reception should be 24 hrs open or at least a emergency number. in-room shower has see-through door so no privacy when taking a shower; bathroom was far from our room. Internet connection problems. Wi-Fi is very a big problem to find. I informed staff about my late check in but single room was not available any more at that time when I came. No lounge area to just sit and relax. They promised and forgot to bring the breakfast. Noise is horrible and toilet is so cold!!. Wi-Fi was not working at all in the floor that my room is located. Expensive for what it was. Room was on ground floor and looked out onto dirty laundry crates and staff smoking area. Bathroom was dirty (hair in the hand wash (the water couldn't go down because of the huge hair-ball!!! disgusting!! and in the bath...). Bad smell came out from the tube. The curtain was grey from the dirt...This was the room No.24. Couldnt get in room first night slept outside could not contact reception nightmare keys failed. Could. not close the window. On the street 0 degrees. Staff only wide arms. The room wasn't clean when we arrived at the hotel and we were charged tourist tax something I never heard of before in my entire life the toilet and the shower were in a separate room and I didn't feel comfortable with .we had to leave our room straight after going into it for the cleaner to come in and clean it.when we were having breakfast I asked the woman where could I find a knife she was very rude and she snapped at me and I was very annoyed the way she treated me.
