  The hotel was very modern with very friendly staff behind the registration desk. The room decor was modern with clean lines, and the room we stayed in had 2 sinks in the bathroom. The hotel is very secure requiring your key badge to access the elevator and hallway doors. We liked the proximity of the hotel to the airport and the shuttle service... what people say » to & from the airport was very convenient because you can catch the train from the airport to Amsterdam's Central Station in downtown. - Good security. Excellent regular airport shuttle. indoor pool and gym. 'Wet-room' style bathroom with 2 sinks. Good free Wi-fi. Good choice of cable TV. Tea/coffee making. Next to McDonalds if on a budget. Good VFM if book ahead esp. mid-week. (Cheaper than an Amsterdam hostel where there is 6 to a room and one shower between 25!) The huge commercial air industry photo murals of DC3's and Connies etc that adorn this airport hotel.

Free shuttle to the aiport every twenty minute and after 12 20 in the morning you just need to call them and they will pick you up (you can go to the airport for any reason: to go to the central station by train (very easy ) or to go home) - They offered me the new Woman's Suite without my knowledge... what people say » or request. From the moment that the shuttle picked us up from the airport all the way to our check out, the staff, rooms, hotel were above and beyond our expectations. The staff was also very helpful in getting us checked in for our - We had a stopover in Schiphol and booked one nights accommodation at the Holiday Inn Express. The pick-up service from the airport was much appreciated, the bedrooms were very comfortable and the breakfast was good. The proximity of the railway station in Hoofddorf, which was a short walk, was great as our flight the following day was an evening one so we enjoyed a canal trip and lunch in the city centre. Our bags were safe in the hotel left luggage room and we purchased a hotel bus ticket back

  We picked this because of the price and because we drove up from Brussels. Parking in the inner city is very difficult.Great help from the owners beforehand and when we got there. We'll appointed, excellent facilities including a fridge full of beer & spirits. For a group of guys on a football trip this was heaven. Nice wee touches like brollys being available.I wouldn't hesitate using the apartment again - Monica and her husband were excellent hosts. The house was stocked with drinks and groceries and though it was not free I felt that the prices were fair. Location was quiet and 5 mins walk from the nearest tram which took about 20 mins to the centre of town. We were a group of 5 and everyone in the group was impressed at the value for money. We will definitely be back.
