Very beautiful and extremely quiet place. You really feel like at home. The owners, Frederick and Jean Michel are delightful and honest people. The terrace on the roof has everything you need to relax, get some sun and refresh yourself in the small pool. Great location: 10 minutes from Jemaa el Fna and few steps from the north entrance of the souks. Personally, I strongly recommend the Airport transfer.
all reviews » This is a wonderfully peaceful and friendly riad in a great location just ten minutes away from the main square. The staff is incredibly helpful, especially owners Jean-Michel & Frédéric. As two women travellers, we never felt unsafe or unattended to. The riad has a wonderful rooftop and daily breakfast was delicious. Jean-Michel and Frederick not only made the Riad worthwhile, but were also a highlight of our trip generally. They went out of their way to make us feel at home and their hospitality was second to none! The Riad is well positioned and within walking distance to everything. We also enjoyed the company of Kermit and Peggy!. The Riad Safa was a loely place to stay in Marrakech. The owners Frederick and Jean Michel are delightful people and were a wealth of knowledge on the city. The other staff were superb and the food sered was delicious and aried. I would recommend the Riad Safa to all who want a wonderful holiday in Marrakech. Beautiful and tranquil place. Feels like you are in someone's home and all the staff were warm and friendly. Breakfast on the terrace was really lovely each morning and a nice place to come back to after a full day out in Marrakesh. Wonderful staff, very clean, comfortable setting, good breakfast. We enjoyed breakfast, reading, and drinking wine on the roof top! It was about a 15 minute walk to Jemaa el Fna. We'd recommend to friends traveling to Marrakech. We loved our stay in Riad Safa. The Riad is very atmospheric and quiet. The staff is very helpfull and breakfast on the roof terras is lovely. There is a nice restaurant around the corner 'Le Foundouk'. This place was simply amazing. The staff were very attentive and always more than happy to help where they could. If I ever return to Marrakech, I'd 100% return to Riad Safa. The staff where excellent and the location to the main square was good. Nothing was to much trouble very much a home from home environment. Breakfast Room had its own terrace (single) Helpful advice Taxi was met by hotel owner Owners willing to help in many ways. the two hosts and the team are friendly and always happy to help. We had a great time at the riad. clean and tidy, friendly, great roof terrace, would stay again. A little stink comes up from the bathroom drains. Not a fault of the Riad itself, but better keep them closed. Not a thing!. The double bed was 2 singles put together so there was a split in middle which wasn't very comfortable!. We were in a very small room which was fine for us but it may not work for all. The Riad is a bit difficult to find. The Riad offers a transfer service from the airport. My advise is to use it, it saves you a lot of trouble and hassle. Not much light at night back to the Riad but not there fault for this. Take a torch we did it helped. Mosque next door wakes you up at 4.50am each day (not the hotel's fault, though!). nothing.
