all reviews » This was my first trip to Morocco and my first experience of staying at a hotel in this country. Although I only stayed for one night I must say that the welcome we received by the receptionist was wonderful. He was extremely warm, helpful and attentive considering we arrived at 00.30 in the morning.The room was very spacious considering there were three single beds in the room. The room was also clean. Was my second stay there, very clean hotel, for 3 starts us great, lovely big bed, nice view, short distance to square, restaurant around, busses go this direction too, very friendly staff, have few good mates there, very happy ppl, I checked in early abd after 15 minutes was nt room ready. Honest excellent hotel for so cheap price. Many thanks and warm welcome back at Morocco xxxxx. The location is great,, just beside the train station, and close to the main shopping streets of the new part of the city. The pool is fantastic; unfortunately it was too cold for us to use in February. Rooms were clean and spacious. Staff were polite and helpful. The description included a roof pool. This was empty but guests can use the pool of the adjoining sister hotel Opera Plaza that is excellent with plenty of comfortable loungers and towels. There is also a pool bar serving very good snacks and drinks. Very good value - we only stayed one night before flying back from Morocco. It would have had a higher rating, but my daughter's bedding was grubby! Rooms were spacious, and to be honest it was better than I was expecting for the price. Its opposite the main train station in Marrakech.. Close to the Suprabus station if you want to travel to other cities in Maroco with Bus The pool is nice and the breakfast is good The hotel staff is friendly :). it has a great location next to the railway station. There was really nothing we didn't like. There was a good bathroom but the shower room really should have a grab rail because the floor is slippery and hazardous. Our room faced the road and was noisy. We had a sheet and a half blanket, which was a bit weird. They are not providing us a kettle and it is very dark in hotel coridor and in the room also!! Even its very hard for me to open the door as its hard to see. Malfunctioning shower. No charm, not a location I would normally choose. Due to budget nature of hotel no kettle, fridge, iron, or safe in room. We stayed on the 2nd floor, right above the restaurant and lounge, and the noise was really loud until 1am, with live music and entertainment. After that, and if you're picky, you still can hear the thump thump from the disco until 5am... We had no towels in the room, and when asked they only left 2, no more no less. Reception is minimum decoration (feeling like cold when you arrive). internet is not free. Room although comfortable a bit dark. Air conditioning in room not working and when open window very noisy!. Staff were offhand. Wouldn't accept that I sign for my c/C. Lu cky I had a fallback option. Even though we had booked a twin room we received a double room. The staff in the evening was not very helpful, he didn't go a good job of apologizing for their obvious error. There was a lot of noise from the club downstairs. Had one small problem with the plumbing, but the staff resolved it quickly. The breakfast was not the best not much variety. Is missing a swimming pool. nathing. Lake of accessories for pending clothes in the bathroom and of disposal for raser blaze,....above lavabo. I did not like the staff who are not friendly or helpful. The food in the hotel is way too expensive. I had to keep changing rooms until I got something that was acceptable. The front desk person was not helpfiul and seemed to get annoyed with me. This is not a cheap hotel so I expected better. Also we asked for a non smoking and were given a room that someone as been smoking in as we could smell it as soon as we opened the door. - pool in the hotel under construction. The air condtion in the rooms is very weak and doesn't work well.paying tenttion to the fact that marrakesh weather during the summer is very hot and it is around 45 degrees. Also the breakfast boufiet has little items and we have to wait 15 mins to refill the empty plates on the boufiet. Poor facilities , not clean at all ., no mini bar . No safe box . No bill man. WiFi not working in the room. Bathroom and shower were smelly beacuse of the humidity. No free wifi in room, and the one paid is very expensive (20 euros per day). The free wifi stop working so no wifi at all in he hotel. Breakfast was not having much choices. Room was small.. Shower was not working properly, no free wifi, pool had no water, staff was not interested. What I didnt like is tht I want t xheck in about 11 am and cuz hotel was full and buzy so they told me wait a lil but I got my room around 11 pm and I have a double room and they gave me single room for the first night and paid it as diuble room.
