For the money, Bahia was great! I was actually surprised at how nice hotel was for the price! Pool was great and sensual. Didnt eat at the restauran but it looked nice...same for the bar. Room was clean, nicely laid out and overlooked the pool. Since i was so close to the pool, i was able to receive WIFI in my room! Hotel is also close (one block) to "the offce" and "mango deck" which are right on the beach!.

The decor of Bar Esquina was also very stylish. Food/Drink was delicious. Liked the overall atmosphere and vibe of the place. It was hip/trendy but still the right amount of casual/friendly. We loved the ambience of the restaurant and bar, and the food was superb. Also really enjoyed the pool~ very relaxing. Our room was spacious with beautiful views of the hills from our balcony. The overall design of the hotel is lovely and the staff were ALL wonderful, including Maria, Ricardo, Karim, and Manuel! Muchos Gracias!. The location is unbeatable, being a three minute walk to the heart of Medano Beach. It's also about a 10 minute stroll to the downtown nightlife. Staff were all very nice, friendly, and helpful. Pool and poolside bar were also quite nice, as was the restaurant/bar inside, which also featured live bands at night. The staff was amazing from start to finish! Rooms were beautifully appointed and the pool was the perfect place to relax. The restaurant had great food and live music in the evenings. Staff was friendly. A block from the beach! But an easy walk. I would have preferred sultry Latin music in the dining room, instead of the loud amplified rock music that accompanied our dinner. If we wanted American rock and roll we would have stayed in the States!. Water temperature was extremely difficult to regulate; the temperature would range from really hot to lukewarm and back to really hot without anyone touching anything. The bed was quite a bit stiffer than we were used to. Wi-fi in the room was spotty at best. The last few nights, there wasn't any in the room. That said, we weren't in Cabo for the Wi-fi! :-). Water pressure/temperature in the shower was lacking. Can get noisy by the pool at night if you have a poolside room - but not too late. Staff just ok, we all got sick at the restaurant and hotel staff basically said not their concern as they are run separately which confused me. Rooms were outdated, see thru door on bathroom, there were literally bowls in our ceiling to catch dripping water. Dim lights and no safe. Room furnishings not exactly "deluxe". Pool drinks expensive. As always ( 15 years of visits now ), the vendors on the beach and the timeshare hawkers on the corners are a big nuisance. Even when walking with my wife, I get offered drugs, cigars, or have other in-your-face confrontations. This happens many times during the day as you walk to the beach, marina, or to town. I never recommend Cabo to anyone because of this, even though I can deal with it, it greatly diminishes the enjoyment of this resort area. no AC in restaurant--it was hot and muggy. No beach club. Wifi did not work in room. Street noise (road traffic) during the day. Also the inconsistency of the water temperature in the shower. the very noisy young people on Spring Break. Room was gross. Broken Tile. Shower ceiling leaked. Bed was a mattress on a cement slab. Not clean, not very luxurious rooms, very uncomfortable bed. Very dishonest description of hotel. Definitely not a 4 start. Web page says views to Ocean, but no views. Very poor quality of rooms and facilities. Loud, next to street. Just a very dishonest marketing.
