Strassen is a small and independent town, which is nevertheless considered as a part of the city of Luxembourg. The town centre is about 5 km away and can be reached easily by bus. Les Thermes de Strassen is 5 minutes away by car.
Visit the big shopping centre, only 800 metres away. Within a 5-minute walking distance, you can find several eateries for all budgets. At a distance of about 2 km you can go jogging in a small woodland area, where you will find two different tracks to discover.
There is a bus stop in front of the Mon Plaisir Hotel. From here, you can travel to the city centre in 20 minutes.

Location, easy parking, friendliness. Easy access, courteous staff, small and friendly. Good location, 10 min to the center by bus, pizza hut near by. Free parking. A clean, pleasant, unpretentious hotel convenient for motorists passing through Luxembourg. We were delighted to have a room where smoking was allowed. friendly staff. informal atmosphere. good value. Breakfast was great!. Location was perfect for our trip home from southern Germany. Small room. Not so much a dislike as a price? The smoking room overlooked a busy street, which however quietened down acceptably at night. no bar. could not tune TV to English channels.Not worth 90euros per room per night, poor breakfast compared to others we have stayed in.

Unfortunately the hotel doesn't have a restaurant. In close vicinity of only 500 meters though you will have the choice between not less than five different restaurants. Additionally you have the opportunity to lunch in a big shopping center located 800 meters away from the hotel. The hotel's management recommends restaurant Le Beaujolais in the city center. Why don't you combine sightseeing with a visit there?

For more than 30 years hotel Mon Plaisier has welcomed its guests offering 27 fully equipped rooms that have all been restored in 2005 and 2006. Not long ago all rooms were also newly furnished.
